Regulatory & Compliance Statement

This statement sets out, in one place, the legal status of cyfare.net and how each service offered on the Platform complies with applicable Indian law.

2. Information Technology Act, 2000 — Intermediary Compliance

To the extent the Platform qualifies as an "intermediary" under Section 2(1)(w) of the IT Act, 2000, CYFARE observes due diligence under Section 79 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, including: publication of rules, privacy policy and user agreements; appointment of a Grievance Officer (legal@cyfare.net) with acknowledgement of complaints within 24 hours and resolution within 15 days; action on lawful takedown orders within prescribed timelines; preservation of records as required; and cooperation with lawfully authorized government agencies.

3. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the SPDI Rules, 2011, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

4. Cybersecurity Content & Tools

Vulnerability advisories, exploit references, malware scanning and threat-intelligence data are published bona fide for defensive security, research and education — activities recognized as legitimate under Indian law. Publication does not authorize any unlawful act; use is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy, and nothing on the Platform permits unauthorized access under Sections 43/66 of the IT Act, 2000.

5. S32 — Restricted Law-Enforcement Service

S32 is a restricted platform offered only to verified Indian law-enforcement personnel, using open-source and publicly circulating data, as described in the S32 Restricted Platform Terms. CYFARE does not conduct interception or unauthorized access, and provides no service to private or foreign persons.

6. Defense Products — Licensed-Partner Model

All defense-related products listed in the shop are offered strictly in partnership with registered middlemen, dealers and shops holding the licences required under applicable law, including (where applicable) the Arms Act, 1959 and the Arms Rules, 2016. Under this model:

Shop operations follow the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, including disclosure of seller identity for partner-sold goods, transparent pricing, and the grievance/refund mechanisms described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Regulator & Law-Enforcement Contact

Courts, regulators and lawfully authorized government agencies may direct requisitions, notices and takedown orders to the Grievance Officer at legal@cyfare.net. Requests are processed in accordance with applicable law and its prescribed timelines.
